I am really interested in green architecture- designing buildings with the conservation of energy and materials in mind plus a few more things- what kind of major might someone go for if they were interested in this?

What kind of major might one get if they were interested in green architecture
That would require more of a knowledge of science, etc. than an architecture degree will give you. Therefore, a major in mechanical engineering may be better.

Well, a major in Architecture, and possibly a minor in earth sciences.
